Snack time

After school on most Fridays the grands come over for a visit. I know they are going to be hungry so this week this is what we had. Gluten free dark choc chip orange scones, apples, oranges, and GF pretzels, And orange spearment spice herbal tea. It was a hit!
We are all Gluten, dairy and egg intolerent. So between my daughter and I we have found some favoite GF recipes and mixes that we all like

May God bless your week.

Some favorite Things

Just a few pics of a some things I have had for a very long time and that I just love.
These sweet little tea pots are tea bag holders one of my granddaughters gave me.
The ME cup and the vintage tablecloth friends gave to me.
The wonderful bowl of ceramic fruit was a
thrift store find. Love the all.

These are four of my very favorite tea cups. I use them and so do my grandchildren when they come over. I have quit a few tea cup and I let them pick out their own for their tea. We almost always have tea when they come and today they will be over after school. It is such a blessing to live close enough to have these special times with them.
May we remember and pray for those families in NY and Texas that are hurting so much.
May God our father and Lord Jesus Christ comfort and heal them and all those who are suffering.

Fantasy Fabric Horse

This is a little fabric horse that I made for our Granddaughter.
It is 71/2" long 8" high. It looks pink here but is really lavender.
It was a challenge but came out OK. I took the Tilda deer pattern and redrew it into a horse.
Jessie picked out the fabric. I used yarn for the mane and tail.
We will be celebrating our risen Savior Jesus on Easter Sunday with family.
Have a blessed Easter too!!!

Handmade Handbag

Just an update. I made another purse today for spring.

I just made and finished my new handbag. I have wanted to make this for weeks. I finally had the time today.  I did not have a pattern for it. I just measured a purse I had and went from there. This one is 17x10. I looked and looked for a handbag in red and black that I liked and just could not find one, so decided to make one.  I fell in love with this B&W fabric at the quilt store. I bought the straps at Handcock fabrics so that made it a lot easier. There are pockets on the inside and one on the outside. It is so rewarding when something you make comes out just like you wanted it too.  FUN!!!
Have a blessed week!
