I love to make things for our home and to decorate. We don't have a lot of money so I try to make things when I can. Have you ever priced hand painted furniture? It is really very expensive. But I love it!! So I decided I wanted something different. I found a painting book that I liked and began with that idea. So I painted this little cabinet a few yrs ago and here are the before and after Pics. A little paint does transform things!
This is where I have it in our home. This wall is part of our living room and dinning area. The tea pot quilt I made also. It was a kit and is put together by paper piecing. You quilters know what that is I am sure.
I hope this has inspired you too. Of course my kids are all grown so I have a little more time now to do things like this. Although I have always sewn for our family and use to do smaller projects when they were home.
