I am updating this older post because I have a simmering pot on the stove right now. Fall is here and much cooler temps. Hubby does not like the candles and has trouble with them burning and even Scentsy products. So this is my best solution.
Here is a site that has 13 recipes for a simmering pot that is all natural. A fragrant Home.
The longer it is in the pot the better it smells. And you can keep adding to it. Enjoy!!!
Have a blessed day!! Sharon

Oh, thank you, Sharon. I just peeked over at the recipes. They look so simple and I think I'll start it on my stove top, then convert it over to rest on top of the wood stove :)
Right now, I have a nice large pot of water that humidifies the house on top of the wood stove. Adding some smelly-goods to it would be a wonderful treat to the house.
Thank you so much for sharing this site.
Thank you so much for posting this. I have saved it to my favorites and plan on trying a few of them :)

I so love to 'simmer' these scents this time of year! I'm glad you shared all these varieties! I have trouble with certain candles, too ... especially the ones with the lead in the wicks, so I can't wait to try one of these 'recipes'!!
I wanted to stop in and see how you were, my friend! We've been very busy with family, and I haven't been on Blogger much these days. I hope you're enjoying a beautiful autumn ... the leaves here haven't been this pretty for the past 3 years! The colors are breathtaking! We drove to a quaint little German town in eastern Indiana and had a beautiful day at their annual Canal Days Festival, yesterday. We had a 'family' day, and our son and daughter-in-law went along, as well. Ever wish that such a beautiful day would never end? I did!! You have a beautiful and blessed week ... I'll check back in again soon!

P.S. I use this pop up window too ... I do like it! :)
