I haven't made cutout cookies in a lot of years so I thought I would try my hand at it this yr. I just made the stars for my Daughters tea that she had at her house. Here are the results and every one said they were good. I wouldn't know since I can't eat things like this. But I still love to bake for others. My hubby tests them for me. I just bought a snowflake cutter and will make some this weekend. I used Paula Deans Snowflake Cookies recipe But I didn't use almond extract, only the vanilla. I haven't been able to find the silver candies to put on top yet. One more store to check out this week. So maybe I will find them! I love my new book Cookie Craft, has lots of beautiful cookies! This is just another way to be creative!
This is the Tea Karen had for her bible study class in her dinning room. I am holding baby Jake.
This is a picture of the Kids table just off the kitchen. She had an ornament craft for each of them and they had fun doing them. And of course they loved all the goodies.
This is a picture of her lovely living room! Friday is another Tea luncheon that will be catered that I will be going too also. I am just helping with the decorations. Should be fun!!
Remembering Christ is the center of all our celebrations. Hope you are enjoying the season.

Love the pictures, thanks for sharing. Karen's LR looks gorgeous. Your cookies look great. I have yet to make mine yet. I hate to do it with Will not being able to eat any. I would be more than content to just sit and hold baby Jake.
The cookies are almost too pretty to eat!
Oh, your blog is so lovely! Marydon was right when she said I would enjoy this immensely. I just love everything in it. And your header is so adorable. I had been looking for such picture for my friendship blog. I'm just thrilled to be here and will visit more in the coming days.

I haven't made cut out cookies in a long time either. I used to do it with the boys when they were little and we'd decorate them!
Her living room is lovely, thank you for sharing. It's always fun to see how others decorate.
You have a lovely Christmas too!
