Tutorial for a header-New bloggers

This is an easy tutorial on how to put up a header on your blog for new bloggers.

Now this is what I did for this one I have today.
Go to your header and click on edit.( your header is where your blog name is at the top on your layout page.)

In the window click on browse, choose a picture or a premade header that you have saved on your desk top( that is where I put mine, and then in a folder later.)
Click on “behind title and description“, and save!

Now go to "Fonts and Colors" at the top left on your layout page.

Click on "Blog Title color", and choose a color.

Click on "Blog Title Font"
Now you can see all the ways you can change the font, the size, and make it Bold and or Italic.
 Save!!  And that is it!!

Note- When you are looking for premade headers and want to save them, just click on the picture of the header and it will show up larger, then right click on it and save as.

Now you can have a border or NOT! By going to "border color". Make it as close as you can to the color of your background if you DON'T want it to show up.
Some Headers or pictures may be to big or wide so click on "Shrink to fit" first.

P S-- Cute- bloglayouts site which I love ( I have a Blinkie at the bottom of my sidebar) has a header for every layout that you can use by just clicking on them.

She doesn‘t give out the layout code unless you ask for it . But all you have to do is follow her instructions and she will sent them to you usually the next day in an email. She does beautiful work!
