December has been a very hard month for me. I got the Shingles right after Thanksgiving and have the usual 30 days of blisters, nausea, extreme pain etc. Now I am just having the usual aftermath nerve pain.
The good news is I am feeling a lot better and I am not taking any pain meds at all. Cold wash clothes on the area or an Ice pack really helps. The Dr said I have the Classic full blown case, Thanks!
This was all caused by ME, weakening my immune system by eating several foods that I should have not eaten. I knew I was pushing it but not to that level. So a lesson learned the hard way.
I have also learned to depend on the Lord moment by moment to get me though this. His mercy and help have been awesome! He is always helping me when I ask Him for anything. Praise Him!
My hubby has been awesome too, helping in every way he can! Don't know what I would do without such a sweet and caring hubby. I can say the same for my wonderful Daughter who has been helping me so much too!
Well that is about it for now. If you think of me I could use your prayers! This is going to be awhile before this is over. Thank You!

Dear Sharon...I'm so sorry you have been going through so much. I will definitely pray for you. I know that its a bit cliche but He never gives us more than we can bear. Even in the midst of your suffering you can thank Him for a wonderful husband and daughter.

Sharon, I am so sorry to hear that you've been dealing with shingles! Bless your heart!! My hubby went through that and he had it on his face, very close to his eyes. He is fine now, but I'm afraid lately that he's letting his immune system go down, as well ... I can only 'suggest' that he not snack on sweets, and I'm praying they don't come back, and this reminds me to share that with him! I had forgotten about it until I read what you're going through! I was wondering what sort of natural remedies you've used. I remember doing research but it's been a few years now ... I believe we used a mixture of tea tree and another EO (?) for it, which really seemed to help. You will be in my prayers, my friend! I do hope, in spite of that, that you had a blessed Christmas. I'm praying that the new year will bring you healing, much joy, and many blessings! I'll be back soon to check in with you!
