First Roses of the yr

The first roses of the yr in our garden
This is a Henry Fonda hybrid tea rose and is very fragrant.

This one is a Double Delite hybrid tea rose.
And it changes to this color.

Every day it looks a little different. It also smells wonderful too!
God's Blessing!

Hello dear Sharon!! It's been awhile since I've come over here to pay you a visit. I was thinking of you this evening and wanted to catch up a bit! Not sure where to start so I'm just reading through the posts on this page, and commenting here. :)

I must say these are prime examples of your first roses of the year ... so beautiful! I've also wanted to try those vertical gardens. We haven't much space here at our home, either. My sister has done the tomatoes this year, and said they are doing quite well!

I do hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day, and, I hope you and your family are doing well! I noticed you said that you needed to have your eyes tested ... I was just telling my husband the same thing! I do wear glasses, but I haven't been to the optometrist for quite awhile ... things have been a bit fuzzier these days. too!

Also, thank you for that tip on 'The Best Pens'! We always seem to get ones that skip and run out of ink a lot sooner than they use to! We'll give these a try as we have a Staples just down the road!

Your hubby did a wonderful job on that planter, too! Looking forward to seeing more photos of your garden! :)

I miss the hot air balloons we would see float over the last house we lived in ... our son would point and say, "Boo-lee-o ... boo-lee-o"!! Lol!! I miss those days, as well!

Well, my friend, I will be back again, soon ... in the meantime, enjoy the warm summer days! We're 'enjoying' a stretch of 90+ degrees days now ... things are so very dry, and we are praying for rain! I bet your grass is greener than mine!! Blessings to you, Sharon!!
