Bicycle Basket Liner

 

I finally found a bicycle basket that I like. Then I went searching for a liner. I saw the ones I liked at Betty's Bicycle Basket Liners on line. But it was $60.00 and I didn't want to pay that. So I am always up for a good challenge so I made my own pretty much with what I already had. Had to buy the strapping for 3.00.  So I measured it, decided on the fabric( the hard part) drew out a plan, cut it out and started sewing! In a few hrs I was done.  I just love it and it is a tote bag too! It just lifts out.

 

     

Has a pocket on the inside.

 

 

And here it is on my old  Specialized brand bike. I love my bike. It is going to be about 55 and  today and 60 tomorrow, so I may take it for a spin. I will be using my basket to take stuff over to friends house. On the trail for a picnic and to the library and various other things. Those plants in the front are Dwarf Heavenly Bamboo and are that color all winter. Poor things were buried in snow for a while but nothing seems to hurt them. Love them!
